Saracens have confirmed winger Rotimi Segun has signed a new contract to remain with the PREM club.

Rotimi Segun Saracens Contract Extension

Segun joined Saracens from Northampton Saints and progressed through the club pathway into the senior squad. He made his first-team debut in the Anglo-Welsh Cup and his Premiership debut against Leicester Tigers in February 2018.

Since then, the back-three player has surpassed 100 appearances for the club across domestic and cup competitions.

Saracens Squad Stability And Player Development

The new deal continues Saracens’ policy of retaining experienced home-grown players. Segun developed through English age-grade rugby, representing England at Under-18 and Under-20 levels before moving fully into senior professional rugby.

Away from the field, he completed a Chemistry degree at Loughborough University while building his professional career, reflecting the club’s emphasis on player development beyond rugby.

The winger said the club remained his long-term home and he aims to contribute to future success in Premiership and European competitions.

“Saracens is my home and I couldn’t be more excited to be staying.

"The club has stuck by me through all of highs and lows in my career so far for which I’ll be forever grateful. I really believe we have all the ingredients to succeed over the coming years and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
