England head coach Eddie Jones has dropped scrum-half Danny Care for the final autumn international clash against Australia to be played at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday.

Care scored the opening try for England during last weekend's clash against Japan but has dropped out of contention with Ben Youngs and Richard Wigglesworth preferred.

Meanwhile, Alex Lozowski also misses out after he failed to stop Ryoto Nakamura scoring Japan's opening try and was replaced by Owen Farrell at half-time in the game that England went on to win 35-15 while Nathan Hughes' return from ban sees him taking the place of Zach Mercer.

Northampton's Piers Francis is added to the squad along with Leicester Tigers' Manu Tuilagi as England look to end their November series campaign well.

“They’ve had a tough year, a bit like us, it’s their last game of the year, as it is ours so we’ll both be looking for a winning performance.”
