Queensland Reds have confirmed that three players including prop Dane Zander have penned new deals with the Super Rugby club.

Zander started his professional rugby career with National Rugby Championship side Brisbane City in 2019 with his Super Rugby debut for Reds coming a year later. Since then, he has gone on to play 18 times for the Super Rugby club and has inked a two-year contract with the club.

Meanwhile, apart from Zander, Feao Fotuaika and Richie Asiata have also signed a one-year contract extension.

Fotuaika made his Reds debut in 2019 after being part of Brisbane City since 2015 and has made 17 Super Rugby appearances while while hooker Asiata joined Reds in the 2021 season from Toronto Arrows and has played six times for the club.

"Our frontrower’s efforts are a real a cornerstone of our game. The depth we have is a credit to the work that Cameron (Lillicrap) and Brad have put into this part of the program," said Reds General Manager – Professional Rugby Sam Cordingley.

"Fe, Dane and Richie are all proud Queenslanders who have come through our club and pathway programs – it’s great to have them committed to the Reds."
