Brodie McAlister signs contract extension with Crusaders for 2023 season

Crusaders have announced that lock Brodie McAlister has signed a contract extension with the club for the 2023 season.

McAlister made his provincial debut with Canterbury in 2018 with his Super Rugby debut for Crusaders coming a year later.

He was also selected in the New Zealand XV squad for matches against Ireland A and Barbarians.

Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson had high praises for McAlister.

"He is a tireless worker and found some great form last season," said Robertson.

“He’s mastering his craft as a hooker and his best as a Crusader is ahead of him".
