England international Ben Te'o will make his debut in the Super Rugby after he was signed by Japanese club Sunwolves for the 2020 season.

Te'o made his England debut in 2016 and has gone on to play 20 Tests for the red rose team with his last appearance coming during the Six Nations earlier this year.

The 32-year-old was left out of England squad in the recently concluded World Cup after an altercation with a team-mate in the final week of training camp leading to the showpiece event following which he signed a short-term deal with French club Toulon in August.

He will now be part of Sunwolves next year on what will be their final season in Super Rugby after SANZAAR and the Japanese Football Rugby Union failed to reach to an agreement.

Sunwolves will face Melbourne Rebels in the opening round of the 2020 Super Rugby season on 1st February at Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium.
