Saracens for Willemse:

With Damian Willemse unfortunately missing out on the Springboks RWC 2019 squad it seems now more likely he'll join Saracens.

He is rumoured to be spending a short-term loan with the English Premiership Champions, whilst their stars are in Japan.

Te'o Extension:

Ben Te'o's move to Toulon was recently annouced publicly, and this weekend he got his debut for Toulon in the Top 14.

His contract was only initially until November, but it seems the English international will stay on a longer deal as a medical joker.

Toner Omission:

Joe Schmidt is due to submit his 31-man Rugby World Cup squad today to World Rugby, and is likely to have plenty of omissions.

Most noteably is 67 times capped second row Devin Toner, who has been battling a string of injuries which could see him missing out.

Back-row Brits:

Schalk Brits was selected in Rassie Erasmus' Springbok squad for the RWC, initially as one of three travelling hookers.

It has come to light that the number 2 shirt might not be his only role, he's been touted as a back-row for games against tier 2 nations.
