Bath Rugby are set to sign four players including Ollie Lawrence and Ted Hill from the troubled Worcester Warriors on loan.

The duo will be joined by Fergus Lee-Warner and Valery Morozov in the first players to leave the club since they were suspended and entered administration last Monday amid financial troubles.

Worcester's last weekend game against Gloucester was postponed and it is yet to be known whether they will be part of the season anymore.

Hill is yet to feature in this season due to a hamstring injury but Lawrence and Lee-Warner featured in three games with Morozov playing the first two matches.

According to a report, Bristol Bears and Exeter Chiefs also expressed interest to sign Hill but Bath made the move first as Sam Underhill and GJ van Velze are recovering from injuries.

“People at this current moment in time are going to have to be doing their due diligence because they don’t know what is happening in the future. Boys are having to make sure that a Plan B is in place," said Hill last week.

"Everyone wants everything to work out at Worcester, but at the end of the day, we are professional players.

“I think people will be being advised by their agents about what is the best thing to be doing going forward. First and foremost, we want Warriors to work out and for it to be moving in the right direction. We are all hoping we can be back as quickly as possible."
