Harlequins have confirmed the signing of Boris Wenger, a 23-year-old prop from Argentina, ahead of the 2025/26 Premiership Rugby season.
Wenger will join the club after the conclusion of the Rugby Championship in October.
Wenger honed his skills with Dogos XV in Super Rugby Americas and was named in the 2024 Team of the Season for his dominant performances. He made his international debut this June, coming off the bench for Argentina in an uncapped match against the British & Irish Lions.
Originally from Villa María in Córdoba, Wenger rose through Argentina’s youth ranks, playing for the U20 side and the Argentina XV before breaking into the senior squad.
Harlequins director of rugby Danny Wilson described Wenger as a “powerful, technically gifted loosehead” who brings athleticism and physicality to both the contact area and the set piece.
“Securing the signing of Boris is a major boost for us and our front row options heading into the new season," said Wilson.
“He’s a powerful, technically gifted loosehead who brings a real physicality to the contact area and set piece. We’re delighted to welcome him and confident he’ll make an impact here at Harlequins.”
Wenger said he is ready for a new chapter: “I’m looking forward to starting a new challenge and joining Harlequins. I’ve heard great things about the club and its supporters… I’m excited to meet my new teammates and give my all.”
Alongside Wenger, other players are also joining Harlequins this season, as the club continues to strengthen their front-row options.
