Harlequins have officially confirmed the signing of Scotland international hooker George Turner for the 2025/26 season.

The 32-year-old front-rower joins the London-based club with a decorated rugby CV, adding depth, experience, and aggression to their forward pack ahead of the new campaign.

Turner arrives at The Stoop with 45 Scotland caps and over 100 appearances for Glasgow Warriors under his belt.

He most recently played for the Kobelco Kobe Steelers in Japan, gaining valuable experience in a new rugby culture. Known for his powerful scrummaging, aggressive ball-carrying, and strong defensive work, Turner will be a major asset in the Premiership and European competitions.

Expressing his excitement about the move, Turner said:

"I'm really looking forward to this next step in my career. After some fantastic years in Scotland and a new experience in Japan, the opportunity to join this club came at the perfect time.

"It's an exciting challenge and one I'm ready for. I'm eager to get stuck into pre-season, meet the squad, and contribute to what this team is building. The ambition here is clear, and I'm proud to be joining Harlequins."

Harlequins Head Coach Danny Wilson, who previously worked with Turner at Glasgow, shared his delight at the signing:
"We're delighted to welcome George to Harlequins ahead of next season.

"He's a proven international talent with 45 Scotland caps and a century of appearances at Glasgow Warriors.

"George is a physical, uncompromising hooker who thrives in the collision, bringing intensity and aggression on both sides of the ball. His experience and dynamism will be a huge asset to our forward pack."
