Argentina winger Santiago Cordero to move from Exeter to Bordeaux Begles at end of season

Bordeaux Begles have confirmed that Argentina international Santiago Cordero will join them ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Cordero, who has played 33 Tests for the Pumas between 2013 and 2017 including six World Cup games in 2015 made his professional rugby debut with Pampas XV following which he moved to Super Rugby side Jaguares in 2016.

He is currently featuring for the English Premiership side Exeter Chiefs which he joined in 2018 and has played for them 17 times in which he scored three tries.

The 25-year-old initially joined the Sandy Park outfit on a short-term deal until January that was extended later till the season end.

Exeter Chiefs are currently at the top of the Gallagher Premiership with 10 wins from 12 games.
