Worcester Warriors have confirmed the signing of prop Richard Palframan from Championship side London Scottish for the 2019/20 season.

This will also mark the 25-year-old's return to the Premiership after previously playing for the London Irish before they were relegated following the 2017/18 season.

Palframan will also be the third signing for the Sixways outfit in the last week following Blues hooker Matt Moulds and Ulster's Caleb Montgomery.

“I am really excited to be given the opportunity to join Worcester. It’s a great club with such passionate supporters, a great group of players and quality coaching staff,” Palframan told the official website of the club.

“I can’t wait to join up with the squad and I’m looking forward to contributing to the club’s future.”

Meanwhile, Worcester director of rugby Alan Solomons expressed delight in obtaining the services of Palframan.

“Rich is a strong scrummaging, mobile tighthead prop who will add huge value when he joins us at Sixways next season. I look forward to working with him,” said Solomons.

Worcester Warriors have already secured their place in the Premiership after registering their eighth win from 20 games and will take on Northampton Saints next at Franklin's Gardens on 4th May.
