Worcester Warriors and staff members have flooded social media as the club is struggling with the financial crisis.

The club recently were served a winding-up petition by HMRC over unpaid tax which is expected be in the tune of £6m. The crisis also meant that the players and staff members were not paid the August payroll in full.

The players can now serve a notice and in a 28-day period they can become a free agent.

Youngster Ollie Wynn in a video had stated that the current situation has made him homeless.

"I've been made homeless recently. Fortunately for me one of the older boys has put me up in their house which I'm so grateful for. It shows as a unit, how tight we are as boys and hopefully we can come through this together."

Ollie Lawrence and Fin Smith also among the Worcester players to express their concern.

"I really hope the right decisions are made from the people above to allow this club to have a future," said Lawrence.

Smith added: "We're just really frustrated now. We haven't been paid, we don't feel like we're getting what we deserve as a group so we need answers."

Murray McCallum also shared his feeling of devastation to see the club going down and is hoping for the wages to be paid in full soon.

The Times have also reported that there isn't even money for food, transport, kit and tape with the players set to wear the jersey from the previous season without names on the back.
