Wales wing Hallam Amos will miss the action in the rest of the year after he was sidelined with a shoulder injury.

The 22-year-old suffered the injury during Wales' previous game against Australia at Millennium which his team went on to lose 8-32. He has been released from the Wales squad for the remaining of the autumn internationals.

The news on Amos was confirmed by his club Newport Gwent Dragons in their official website which further stated that the former Wales Under-20 will now undergo a surgery on his shoulder.

" Having been reviewed by a specialist, he will undergo surgery next week," the Dragons said.

"Amos will then require a period of rehabilitation, with an expected return to play in the New Year."

Interim coach Rob Howley has added Ospreys wing Keelan Giles into the squad as the replacement for Amos with Wales scheduled to take Argentina, Japan and Argentina next in their November Tests.
