Vaea Fifita, the dynamic back-row forward, will leave Scarlets at the conclusion of the current season to join French Top 14 side Montauban, bringing an end to a memorable stint in Welsh rugby.
Fifita, who previously represented New Zealand before switching allegiance to Tonga, has been a standout performer for Scarlets since his arrival. Known for his explosive ball-carrying, tireless work rate, and versatility across the back row, he quickly became a fan favourite at Parc y Scarlets.
Speaking about his departure, Fifita said: “It’s a new chapter for me and my family, and I can’t wait to get stuck in with Montauban.”
