TRU puts together it's Six Nations Dream Team of Round 1 which saw Ireland, Scotland and France get off to a winning start.
1. Danilo Fischetti (Italy) - Beating 6 defenders is no mean feat from Italy's loosehead, a great prospect. Genge needs a mention.
2. Dan Sheehan (Ireland) - Showed a huge amount of pace and dynamism, made the most metres against Wales from any forward.
3. Finlay Bealham (Ireland) - Filled the huge boots of Tadhg Furlong, a solid all round set-peice display from the Irish Tighthead.
4. Thibaud Flament (France) - Took his 'start' opportunity with both hands, impressive early try and great all round performance. Richie Gray was a standout too.
5. James Ryan (Ireland) - Another powerful Irish forward who carried hard into a Welsh side, putting them on the back foot, deserved his early try.
6. Matt Fagerson (Scotland) - A huge engine on the back rower, an astonishing 26 tackles made, as well as a try. Sebastien Negri was immense.
7. Josh Van der Flier (Ireland) - Typically brilliant from Mr. Consistent. Really stepped up his carrying in the loose and finished with a try to his name.
8. Caelan Doris (Ireland) - 1 try, 11 carries and 18 tackles give you a taste of the number 8's workrate against Wales, devastating ball carrier.
9. Ben White (Scotland) - Justified his selection ahead of Ali Price, took his try well to keep Scotland in the game at a vital point in the match.
10. Johnny Sexton (Ireland) - Relentlessly adding pressure on the Welsh defensive line, orchestrating the forwards and backline with precision.
11. Duhan Van der Merwe (Scotland) - Would be in the team for his solo try alone, but added another try to his MOTM performance.
12. Sione Tuipulotu (Scotland) - Delightful grubber kick for Huw Jones' try, a very polished display from the powerhouse centre.
13. Ignacio Brex (Italy) - Becoming a very astute international centre, powerful in attack and defense. Garry Ringrose was decent.
14. Ange Capuzzo (Italy) - Capuzzo had to be in the team of the week, even out of position, Italy's magic man, most metres made with 114. Max Malins impressed also.
15. Hugo Keenan (Ireland) - Named MOTM and rightfully so in a standout performance from the fullback, great under the high ball and deadly in attack.
