Netflix and Six Nations have entered into a partnership which will see the streaming giant produce a docuseries on the 2022 edition of the tournament.

Netflix will premiere the series during the 2023 Six Nations tournament which will provide insight on "exhilarating world of the oldest and greatest annual international rugby tournament, giving fans an insight into pulsating behind the scenes moments, as the best teams in Europe battle it out in some of the biggest matches in the rugby calendar to take home the prestigious trophy."

The series will be produced by he same team behind Drive to Survive which will also release the season five on the Formula 1 in February.

Apart from the series on Six Nations, a docuseries on Qatar 2022 World Cup has also been announced by Netflix.

“This eclectic group of new and returning series reinforces that we are committed to delivering the best sports stories to our fans,” Brandon Riegg, vice president of unscripted and documentary series at Netflix said.

“By going behind-the-scenes of the world’s biggest sporting events with unprecedented access, we have a unique opportunity to share the triumphs, tribulations and drama of these iconic moments with our hundreds of millions of global members.”

The 2023 Six Nations tournament will kick-off on 4th February.
