The 22-year-old now joins a small group of players to win the award in consecutive seasons, with Antoine Dupont also having achieved that feat for France.

The Bordeaux-Begles back finished the 2026 championship with nine tries in five matches, setting a new record for a single Men’s Six Nations campaign.

He had already broken the previous mark of eight, which he set himself in 2025. His overall contribution went well beyond finishing, with strong attacking numbers across the tournament highlighting his influence in France’s backline.
