England winger Tom Roebuck has pledged his future to Sale Sharks, signing a new two-year contract with the club.

The 24-year-old, who started his rugby career at Chester Rugby Club before joining the Sharks Academy, has been an integral part of the team since making his debut in 2018 during a Premiership Rugby Cup match against Worcester.

Roebuck has been a standout player for Sale, accumulating nearly 100 appearances and scoring 39 tries, including six in the ongoing Gallagher Premiership season.

His impressive form earned him a call-up to the England squad, where he debuted against Japan in the 2024 summer tour. Roebuck marked his international arrival with a memorable first try against Japan at Twickenham during the Autumn Series.

Speaking about his decision to extend his stay, Roebuck said, "I’ve grown up in and around Manchester and I’ve been at the club since I was 14 or 15. Playing every week with close mates I’ve known for so long makes this club special.

"My family is deeply connected to Sale, and staying here was an easy choice. While we’ve come close to winning silverware twice, I’m confident we can take the next step together and clinch the Premiership title."

Sale Sharks' leadership is equally thrilled about Roebuck’s extended tenure. Al, a senior coach at the club, praised his talent and dedication, saying,

"Tom has shown remarkable growth over the last three years, and his hard work has rightly earned him international recognition. He’s not just an exceptional player but a vital part of our future. We’re excited to see him reach new heights in a Sale Sharks jersey."
