The rugby agent and the rugby scout community have been following our Fantasy Analyst, Scott Donaldson. The evidence emerged in the last 36 hours.

Firstly, Scott submitted his Team Of The Week, followed by Leicester Tigers announcing their new signing. At Talking Rugby Union we concluded it was a coincidence.

However, for our fantasy rugby managers they can point to their expert analysis. Take a look at what Scott posted:

Super Rugby Round 10 Team of the Round features plenty of surprises as many of these players were in the losing teams during the weekend.

Plenty of these players are bargain priced, including the consistent Dane Haylett-Petty from the lowly Force who hasn't scored a try all season, but keeps making the Team of the Round mainly thanks to his 12 go forwards in Rounds 9 and 10.

Super Rugby Round 10 results

Crusaders 9-26 Chiefs
Hurricanes 24-29 Waratahs
Highlanders 30-24 Blues
Brumbies 8-13 Rebels
Force 6-13 Stormers
Sharks 10-17 Bulls
Cheetahs 17-18 Reds

It is funny seeing players like James Hanson and Samu Kerevi from the struggling Reds, joining players from other battling teams like the Blues and Force in the Team of the Round.

These are based on statistics from fantasy rugby website www.testrugby.com according to their definitions.

Who was the best player in Super Rugby Round 10?

Wellington born Waratahs winger Peter Betham was inspirational in his team's win over the competition leaders with two tries. Beauden Barrett from the Hurricanes was also in good form finishing narrowly behind Betham. Sharks loose forward Marcell Coetzee was the third best.

There are some players like Steve Mafi, Brad Shields and Sefanaia Naivalu who were victims of being listed or playing in the wrong position.
