Lock Steve Cummins has parted ways with Dragons RFC, the club confirmed today.
The Australian second row, who previously represented Eastern Province Kings, Melbourne Rising, Melbourne Rebels, Scarlets and Pau previously, made six appearances for the Welsh side after joining in 2024.
Dragons stated that Cummins departs with the full support and best wishes of the organisation.
Head coach Filo Tiatia praised the 33-year-old for the impact he made during his time in Newport, highlighting his professionalism and influence within the squad.
“Steve’s experience and professionalism have been an asset to our playing group throughout his time with us," he told the club's official website.
"He has been a pleasure to work with, and we wish him all the best.
“As a club, we want to wish Steve and Laura all the best for their future endeavours. They will always be warmly welcomed back at Rodney Parade.”
Dragons have secured two draws and three defeats in the five matches of the ongoing United Rugby Championship season as they languish at 15th place.
