Exeter Chiefs delivered a commanding display at Sandy Park, dismantling Harlequins 38–0 in a match that showcased ruthless finishing and rock-solid defence.

Henry Slade led from the front, contributing with the boot and crossing twice for tries in a complete performance from the home side.

The Chiefs took control from the outset. Henry Slade opened the scoring in the third minute with a penalty, and Immanuel Feyi-Waboso extended the lead midway through the first half with a clinical finish.

Slade converted before scoring one of his own just two minutes later, adding the extras again to push Exeter clear. Harvey Skinner added another try on 35 minutes, converted by Slade, as the hosts stormed to a commanding lead before the break.

After half-time, Exeter wasted no time continuing their dominance. Greg Fisilau powered over in the 43rd minute, with Slade reliable once again from the tee.

Harlequins’ discipline fell apart in the second period, with three players sent to the sin bin: Bachuki Tchumbadze on 56 minutes, Cadan Murley in the 67th, and Harry Browne on 75 minutes, reducing the visitors to damage limitation mode.

The final word fittingly belonged to Slade. In the 79th minute, the centre crossed for his second try of the evening before converting it himself in the final play, sealing a 38–0 shutout victory.
