Wales international Rhodri Williams becomes the latest player to sign a new contract with Dragons.

Williams came through the Scarlets Academy and after starting his career at Llandovery RFC in the Welsh Premier Division, he made his senior debut for the Welsh province in 2011.

He made a switch to Bristol in 2016 and played a key part in the club gaining promotion ahead of the 2018/19 season. The 28-year-old joined Dragons in 2018 and has racked up 74 appearances for the club scoring 13 tries.

“I’ve enjoyed my four seasons at Dragons, really feel we are building something here and it is now about putting it on the field," said Williams to told the club's official website.

“It’s been a tough season with results, but we’re all looking forward to this derby period now and looking to finish strongly.

“I’m still only 28 and have ambitious in the game that I feel I can achieve at Dragons.”

Williams made his Wales debut in November 2013 and has three caps to his name with his last appearance coming in 2014. He also had represented Wales Under 20 and Barbarians in the past.
