Scrum half Tavis Knoyle makes Dragons exit with immediate effect

Dragons have announced that scrum half Tavis Knoyle will leave the club with immediate effect.

Knoyle started his professional rugby career with Ospreys in 2009 and also played for Scarlets and Cardiff Rugby before joining Dragons in 2016.

The 31-year-old overall has made 61 appearances for Dragons and also had featured in 11 Tests for France between 2010 and 2013.

"Dragons would like to place on record our thanks Tavis for his efforts during this time at the region and wish him and his family all the best for the future," read a statement from Dragons.r

The club also confirmed that scrum half Lewis Jones will extend his stay at the club at least until the end of season.

Dragons are positioned 15th in the United Rugby Championship with a solitary win from eight games.
