Scrum-half Jono Kitto has rejoined Worcester Warriors after signing a one-year contract contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

The 26-year-old started his professional rugby career with Bay of Plenty in 2014 and moved to Leicester Tigers a year later before his first association with Worcester Warriors began with a short stint in 2017.

Even though Kitto switched to Harlequins for the 2017/18 season, he will now link up with the Sixways outfit for the 2019/20 season and will join from Northlands.

“I am really excited to be heading back to play rugby in the Gallagher Premiership and in particular with the Worcester Warriors,” Kitto told the official website of Worcester Warriors.

“I really enjoyed my brief stint there in 2017 and met some good people that I am looking forward to working with again.

“It has been good to be home the last year reconnecting with family and friends and I really enjoyed my time with Northland, but the opportunity to join Worcester was too good to miss.”

The former New Zealand Under 20 has played 30 Premiership games until now spread across Leicester Tigers, Worcester Warriors and Harlequins.
