Scotland 29-13 Wales, Murrayfield Stadium
Scorecard

A dominant second half performance from Scotland saw them come from behind and seal a 29-13 victory over Wales at Murrayfield on Saturday to keep their hopes in the Six Nations 2017 tournament alive.

The victory is also Scotland's first win over Wales since their 21-9 triumph at the same venue in February 2007.

Scotland now have climbed to the second place in the Six Nations table following Ireland's win over France but can slide to third place if England, who are yet to lose a game continue their winning streak against Italy on Sunday.

The first quarter saw Scotland fly-half Finn Russell and fullback Leigh Halfpenny exchange penalties. Wales soon extended their advantage when wing Liam Williams went past the line in the 22nd minute with Halfpenny adding the extras.

Russell scored two more penalties on either side of Halfpenny's 33rd penalty to bring down the trail to four points at half time for Scotland.

After assistance from Stuart Hogg and wing Tim Visser, Tommy Seymour scored the opening try for Scotland in the 43rd minute with Russell conversion taking them to the lead of three points.

Rhys Webb looked threatening to bring Wales back in the game but was put off by Scotland scrum half Ali Price. With his fourth penalty coming in the 54th minute, Scotland had a lead of 19-13.

It was Webb once again who raised hopes for Wales but this was stopped by Visser, who himself dances past the post in the 66th minute which was followed by a conversion and a penalty from Russell to ensure a 16-point win for Vern Cotter's men.
