Scotland have added four players to their squad ahead of the Six Nations finale against Ireland in Dublin after a fresh wave of injuries following the win over France.

Scotland Squad Update Before Ireland Match

Head coach Gregor Townsend has brought in Euan Ferrie, Alec Hepburn, Arron Reed and Alex Samuel for the final week of the championship.

Ferrie, Hepburn and Reed return to the national training environment after earlier involvement with Scotland A, while Samuel comes back with senior international experience already to his name.

The changes come as Scotland prepare for a decisive final-round fixture with their title hopes still alive, although they remain dependent on other results as well as their own performance in Dublin.

Injury Blow Forces Scotland Changes

Scotland have lost six players to injury ahead of the Ireland match. Gregor Brown has a calf problem, Scott Cummings is dealing with a hamstring issue, Adam Hastings has a shoulder injury, Nathan McBeth has an ankle problem, Elliot Millar Mills has a groin issue, and Duhan van der Merwe has also returned to his club with an ankle injury.

Seb Stephen has also left the squad and returned to Glasgow Warriors. The updated group reflects the physical toll of Scotland’s dramatic victory over France, which kept them in the championship race going into the final weekend.
