Leinster will be without Robbie Henshaw for Saturday’s United Rugby Championship clash with the Lions at the Aviva Stadium after the experienced centre entered the graduated return-to-play protocols following a head injury suffered in the Champions Cup semi-final win over Toulon.
Robbie Henshaw Injury Update For Leinster
Henshaw was forced off during Leinster’s European semi-final and has now been ruled out of this weekend’s URC fixture.
The 32-year-old’s absence is a significant blow for Leinster as they continue to balance domestic and European demands at a crucial stage of the season.
His injury adds to the growing list of concerns for the province ahead of Round 17.
Leinster Face Multiple Injury Doubts
Jack Conan, Josh van der Flier and Tommy O’Brien are all doubtful after also being forced off in the win over Toulon. Leinster are expected to make final decisions on their availability later in the week after further assessment.
There is also uncertainty surrounding James Lowe, Tadhg Furlong and Jordan Larmour, leaving Leinster with several key players under injury watch before facing the Lions.
