Reds make two changes for Super Rugby AU final against Brumbies

Queensland Reds head coach Brad Thorn has made two changes to the starting line-up for the Super Rugby AU final against Brumbies to be played at GIO Stadium on Saturday.

As Chris Feauai-Sautia is ruled out with a groin injury, Jordan Petaia will take his position at right wing with Hunter Paisami gaining promotion to start at outside centre.

Harry Hoopert will drop to the bench while JP Smith will start at loosehead with two more changes in the bench sees Ruan Smith and Jack Hardy coming into the matchday squad.

“Grand Final week – this is what it’s all about," said Thorn.

“We’re embracing the challenge ahead against a worthy opponent, whom we respect.

“Our journey to get here started back in November with our Reds to Regions trip across Queensland. We travelled around the world. We worked hard in two pre-seasons. We’ve battled through a global pandemic".
