Tonga international Nafi Tuitavake has penned a new deal with Aviva Premiership club Northampton Saints.

The Auckland-born wing has played a solitary Test for Tonga in June and has represented New Zealand sevens team in 2008. The 21-year-old will now make a switch to Northampton from RC Narbonne and has also played in the Super Rugby for Crusaders.

Director of rugby at Northampton Jim Mallinder believes Tuitavake's experience at international level will benefit the club.

"We have been really impressed with what we have seen of Nafi.

"He has performed on lots of big stages, from Super Rugby and New Zealand sevens to international rugby, and we think his ability and experience from these will further enhance our squad.

"He is an exciting talent who has all the attributes to be a success here, and we look forward to welcoming him to Northampton."
