The National Clubs Association have today released the fixtures for the 2021-22 season.
After a challenging 14 months or so without any rugby at levels three and four due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 48 clubs can hopefully now look forward to the new season - which begins on September 4th and ends on April 30th 2022 - with some hope and optimism.
Leeds Tykes begin life in National One by hosting Taunton Titans, who clinched promotion to the third tier during the 2019/20 campaign.
After securing the National Two North title, Caldy welcome Old Elthamians to Paton Fields on the opening day whilst fellow newcomers Tonbridge Juddians entertain Bishop's Stortford.
Rosslyn Park and Rams, who were battling it out with Richmond for top spot just over a year ago, travel to Plymouth Albion and Cambridge, respectively.
In National Two North, Fylde go to Tynedale to begin the 2021/22 season with other standout fixtures including Hull Ionians' trip to Chester and Rotherham Titans taking on Wharfedale in an all-Yorkshire affair.
Canterbury's return to National Two South sees them travel to Bury St Edmunds in Round One whilst Hinckley will finally begin life in this division when they host Barnes. Elsewhere, Rochford Hundred, Barnstaple and Guernsey - who all earned promotion last year - face Esher, Clifton and Worthing, respectively.
A full list of fixtures will be uploaded to the NCA website this week.
