Munster have announced the signing of centre Tom Farrell on a two-year deal ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Farrell joined the Leinster academy ahead of the 2013/14 season and represented their A side in the British and Irish Cup.

The 30-year-old joined English Championship club Bedford Blues ahead of the 2016/17 season before returning to Ireland in January 2017 signing a deal with Connacht.

He has made 33 appearances for Connacht over the past two seasons, including starts in last year’s URC quarter-final and semi-final.

Farrell was part of the Ireland under-20 squad that competed in the 2013 Junior World Championship. He earned a call-up to the Ireland squad for the 2019 Six Nations.

Connacht are positioned 10th in the United Rugby Championship table with nine wins from 17 games.
