As a big boost to Munster and the Irish Rugby Football Union, veteran Ireland scrum-half Conor Murray has signed a one-year contract extension.
Murray made his competitive debut for Munster against Connacht in the Celtic League in April 2010 and has gone on to become an integral part of the province.
He has made 185 appearances for Munster scoring 34 tries and has won two domestic titles with them in the 2010/11 and 2022/23 seasons. The 34-year-old also has won five Six Nations titles with Ireland in 2014, 2015, 2018, 2023 and 2024 and represented the British and Irish Lions in the 2013, 2017 and 2021 tours.
Meanwhile, the province also confirmed that academy players Jack Daly with Brian Gleeson will be promoted to the senior squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Daly has signed a one-year extension to his current deal while academy and Ireland Under-20 star Brian Gleeson will move up to the senior squad next season on a two-year professional contract.
Munster are positioned fourth in the United Rugby Championship table with eight wins from 13 matches.
