Montpellier have announced the signing of Australia international Brandon Paenga-Amosa on a three-year deal.

Paenga-Amosa has been part of Southern Districts since 2013 and had represented Greater Sydney Rams, New South Wales Country Eagles and Brisbane City.

He went on to make his Super Rugby debut with Queensland Reds in 2018 and also featured for Australia Barbarians in 2017.

The 6ft hooker made his Australia debut in 2018 against Ireland in Brisbane and has gone on to feature in 14 Tests with his last appearance coming during the Bledisloe Cup clash against New Zealand in Auckland.

The 25-year-old is set to be available for Montpellier ahead of their Top 14 clash against Castres on Saturday.

Montpellier are positioned third in the Top 14 table after managing to win five out of their 10 matches.
