Matt Banahan, Brad Barritt and Tom Youngs are the latest players to be inducted into the Premiership Rugby Hall of Fame this year.

Banahan has made over 200 appearances in the league featuring for Bath Rugby and Gloucester Rugby scoring 71 tries. He is also eighth on the Premiership Rugby all-time try scoring list.

Meanwhile, Barritt featured 191 times for Saracens and has 26 Test appearances to his name. He went on to win five Premiership titles for the Sarries between 2011 and 2019 while also winning three Heineken Champions Cup titles in 2016, 2017 and 2019.

Youngs made over 150 Premiership appearances over fifteen years of service for the Tigers and earned 28 England caps as well as three British and Irish Lions test caps on the 2013 tour of Australia.

“The 2023 inductees to the Premiership Rugby Hall of Fame have been outstanding rugby players who made a monumental contribution to the success of their Clubs and England," said Rugby Director at Premiership Rugby Phil Winstanley.

“Beyond their brilliance on the pitch, all three are also great people and have been terrific ambassadors for the Premiership and our sport over many years.

“We will be honoured to welcome Matt, Brad and Tom, and their families, to the Gallagher Premiership Final this Saturday, and we look forward to witnessing the Twickenham crowd show its appreciation for three of the league’s true greats at half-time.”
