Italy will miss the services of flanker Lorenzo Cannone for the second round of the Six Nations clash against Ireland due to a leg injury.

The 23-year-old sustained the blow during the opening game of the tournament against England where he left off the field in the 45th minute.

Italy will also be missing the experienced Sebastian Negri for the game due to a hip injury but back Ange Capuozzo returns back to the squad after missing the encounter against England due to an illness.

Italy are at fifth place in the Six Nations following their narrow 24-27 defeat against England in the opening game and now will be heading to Aviva Stadium
