Leicester Tigers have announced that Dan Palmer has resigned from his role as scrum coach following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
The decision follows after head coach Dan McKellar also stepped down from his role recently.
The 35-year-old joined Leicester Tigers as scrum coach in 2023 following the end of the Rugby World Cup campaign with Australia.
"Palmer submitted his resignation after confirmation of the mutual agreement with Dan McKellar to end his tenure as Head Coach at the club, citing that he was unable to commit to the role fully moving forward into the new season," read a statement from the club.
Meanwhile, the club’s Senior Academy Forwards Coach Neil Fowkes will take over as the interim scrum coach with an announcement on the new head coach is set to be made ahead of the playing group’s return on 1st July.
