Kyle Eastmond to cross codes and join Bath Rugby?

St Helens Rugby League player Kyle Eastmond could be on the verge of crossing codes and joining Bath Rugby, the 21 year old from Manchester has been a big hit in Rugby League. Playing in 57 games and scoring 33 tries is a record that can't be ignored, Eastmond could play across the backline for Bath Rugby and has been touted as a future England international in Rugby Union after representing England in Rugby League.

There have been noteable players who have crossed codes and made a waves in impressing players, fans and coaches. The most famous player being Jason Robinson who most player associate with Rugby Union but was in the Rugby League World Cup Final for England and won the challenge cup many times. Chris Ashton is also another cross code player who is one of the most talented wingers in Rugby Union at the moment, other players to make a success would be Shontayne Hape for Bath Rugby and Sonny Bill Williams who has made it into the All Blacks.

When there is successes there are always failures with players such as Henry Paul, Lesley Vainkolo, Andy Farrell etc not quite making it at the top level. Andy Farrell has gone into the coaching side of Rugby Union now as he is the coach of the Saracens with his son Owen Farrell starting to gain a reputation as a future star Fly-Half.
