Fly-half Gavin Henson also contributed with two conversions and a penalty to ensure the home side had a lead of 22-6 at half time.

Dee extended the momentum the Dragons gained in the first half with an early second half try as their lead increased to 23 points.

Flanker Anidisa Ntsila helped Kings make a brief comeback when he went past the line in the 59th minute to bring down the gap to 16 points.

However, despite losing Leon Brown and Thomas Davies to sin-bins in the 68th and 75th minutes, Dragons managed to hold on to their lead as they completed a 29-13 victory.
