Japan to join Australia and South Africa in Scotland's autumn series fixtures

The Scottish Rugby Union has confirmed that Japan will be the third opponent in the autumn series fixtures of Scotland scheduled to be played in November this year.

It was earlier announced that the Dark Blues will be locking horns with Australia and South Africa on 6th and 13th November respectively and now the game against the Brave Blossoms will be scheduled on 20th November with the Murrayfield Stadium being the venue for all the three matches.

This will be also be the first time the two teams will lock horns with each other since their encounter in the 2019 World Cup which saw Japan register a 28-21 win.

Japan will also be making a visit to the Murrayfield Stadium next month for their fixture against the British and Irish Lions set to take place on 26th June.

Meanwhile, Scotland will be hosting Romania and Georgia in their summer series fixtures on 10th and 17th July respectively.

Scotland's Summer Series Fixtures:

27th June - Scotland A v England A, Mattioli Woods Welford Road
10th July - Scotland v Romania
17th July - Scotland v Georgia

Scotland's Autumn Series Fixtures:

6th November - Scotland v Australia
13th November - Scotland v South Africa
20th November - Scotland v Japan
