Leinster will miss the services of Ireland international James Ryan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season following a shoulder injury.
The 24-year-old sustained the blow during the training and is now expected to be out of action for between 10 to 12 weeks which will keep him out Leinster's remaining Pro14 fixtures and also the play-offs in the Champions Cup.
Ryan will be expected to be available for Ireland's Six Nations game against Italy which has been scheduled at Aviva Stadium on 24th October.
Meanwhile, Leinster's Adam Byrne will also be sidelined for up to three months following a hamstring injury while Peter Dooley (shoulder), Vakh Abdaladze (back) and Dan Leavy (ligament) are also recovering from their respective injuries.
James Lowe, who returned from New Zealand has returned to training after following government guidelines.
