Jack Singleton signs permanent deal with Gloucester Rugby

Gloucester Rugby has confirmed that England international Jack Singleton has penned a permanent deal with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Singleton started his professional rugby career with Worcester Warriors in 2016 and moved to Saracens in 2019 making 59 appearances in the Premiership for the two clubs combined.

Following Saracens relegation to second tier for series of salary cap breaches, the 24-year-old joined the Cherry and Whites on a season-long loan deal in 2020 but now has signed a permanent contract to remain at Kingsholm.

"Jack is player with significant Premiership, European and international experience under his belt, and he’s already been key player for us," said Gloucester Chief Commercial Officer Alex Brown to the club's official website.

"He has significantly progressed his rugby over the last few years and is continuing to develop his game here at Kingsholm.

"We’re delighted that he has agreed to sign a permanent deal here."

Singleton made his England debut in 2019 and went on to represent the red rose team in the World Cup last year. He has played three Tests overall all of it coming last year.

"I’m really happy to commit my future to Gloucester Rugby. I’ve enjoyed my time here, and I’m looking forward the future with this Club."

Gloucester are positioned ninth in the Gallagher Premiership table with a solitary win from three games and started their Heineken Champions Cup campaign with a 55-10 defeat against Lyon in the opening match.
