Italy have made just one change to their matchday squad for the Six Nations meeting with Ireland in Dublin, following their opening-round victory over Scotland.
Italy Team Selection against Ireland
Leonardo Marin shifts from full-back to centre to replace Juan Ignacio Brex, who is unavailable for personal reasons. Lorenzo Pani comes into the starting XV at full-back, earning his first start in nearly two years after featuring off the bench last weekend.
The adjustment maintains much of the side that secured the 18-15 win over Scotland, as head coach Gonzalo Quesada keeps continuity ahead of a difficult away fixture.
Key Absentees From Italy Matchday Squad
Ange Capuozzo and scrum-half Stephen Varney are not included despite returning to fitness. Capuozzo has been recovering from a finger injury sustained in club rugby, while Varney has been managing an adductor issue.
Marin partners Tommaso Menoncello in midfield, a combination Italy hope can develop consistency in attack during the championship.
