Italy head coach Conor O'Shea has named a 31-man squad for the World Cup that kicks-off in Japan next month.

The squad will be captained by Sergio Parisse, who has featured in 139 Tests for Italy and will be joined by Maxime Mbanda, Sebastian Negri, Jake Polledri and Abraham Steyn in back-row along with Dean Budd, Federico Ruzza, David Sisi and Alessandro Zanni in second-row.

Tommaso Allan and Carlo Canna are the fly-halves in the squad that also has three scrum-halves in Callum Braley, Guglielmo Palazzani and Tito Tebaldi.

Italy are grouped in Pool B in the Rugby World Cup and will kick-start their campaign on 22nd September when they face Namibia at Hanazono Rugby Stadium.
