Ireland make two changes for Wales clash

Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has made two changes for the second round of the Six Nations clash against Wales to be played in Dublin on Saturday.

Caelan Doris, who made his debut for Ireland in the tournament opener against Scotland misses out after sustaining a head injury in the game and as a result CJ Stander moves to number eight with Peter O’Mahony coming at blindside.

The other change sees Garry Ringrose missing out with a finger injury and Robbie Henshaw gains a promotion from the bench to take his place at outside centre.

Leinster back-row Max Deegan is set to make his debut for Ireland after he is named on the bench along with Keith Earls.

Ireland are currently positioned third in the Six Nations table after they went on to beat Scotland 19-12 in the opening game of the tournament at Aviva Stadium in Dublin last weekend.
