Ireland lock Iain Henderson doubtful for Six Nations game against Wales

Ulster lock Iain Henderson is doubtful for Ireland's upcoming Six Nations game against Wales to be played on Saturday following a foot injury.

Henderson, who has played 80 times for Ireland sustained the blow during the recently concluded United Rugby Championship game against Ospreys.

A statement released by the Irish Rugby Football Union revealed that Henderson will be assessed in due course of time to know the extent of injury.

"Iain Henderson picked up a foot injury during Ulster's URC game away to Ospreys on Sunday and there will be a further update later in the week," the IRFU said.

Head coach Andy Farrell has included Hugo Keenan despite he is recovering from a knee problem.

Ireland are positioned at the top of the Six Nations with wins over France and Italy in the opening two rounds.
