Premiership champions Harlequins have confirmed the signing of hooker Jack Walker ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Walker joined Bath Rugby from Championship Yorkshire Carnegie ahead of the 2016/17 season and went on to make his debut for the club in the European Challenge Cup. The 25-year-old has gone on to make 86 appearances for the club before making an exit when his contract expired at the end of the 2020/21 season.

Walker also captained the England Under 20 side during the 2016 Six Nations and Junior Rugby World Cup.

“Harlequins are going in an exciting direction at the moment, and I’m thrilled to be able to join them in their journey," he told the club's official website.

"Having spoken to some of the coaches and people involved with the team, I know this is a side with real potential to build something big.

“There’s a great balance to the squad and I’m looking forward to playing my part and contributing to what’s to come.

“Quins are a team with real history and are one of the first names you think of when you think of English rugby.

"To join a champions team as well-known as Quins is something I’m proud of, and I can’t wait to get my first chance at running out in the Quarters.”
