Wales' search for their maiden Test victory against the All Blacks in New Zealand has taken a further blow after Gethin Jenkins and Bradley Davies are ruled out of the third and final Test.

Cardiff Blues prop Jenkins, who is the most capped player for Wales, sustained a calf injury in the second Test, while the 29-year-old Davies suffered from a knee injury after coming as a replacement for Luke Charteris in the same encounter.

The pair will be heading back home along with Cardiff Blues flanker Josh Turnbull, who damaged his shoulder during the tour game against the Chiefs, which Wales went on to lose by 40-7 in Hamilton. Warren Gatland will be announcing the Wales team on Thursday.

The third and final Test between the two teams will be played on Saturday at Forsyth Barr Stadium with the All Blacks having an unassailable lead of 2-0.
