Crusaders ran a 10-try riot as they trounced Bulls by 24-62 in their Super Rugby encounter at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Peter Samu (4'), Tim Bateman (10'), Scott Barrett (25'), Jack Goodhue (30') and Seta Tamanivalu (41') were the try scorers for Crusaders in the first half while Richie Mo'unga added conversions on three occasions to take the visitors to 31 points at the end of the first half.

In response, Tiaan Schoeman's lone penalty in the 16th minute remained the only points for Bulls in the first 40 minutes as they trailed by 28 points leading into the second half.

David Kaetau Havili (42') and Andrew Makalio (63') scored further tries while Goodhue strolled past the post for the second time along with converted tries from Mo'unga and Mitch Hunt to take the tally to 62 points.

Despite, Jesse Kriel, Jamba Ulengo and Jan Serfontein replying back with tries in the second half, Bulls went on to lose the encounter by massive 38-point margin.

Crusaders continue to top the table in New Zealand Conference after registering their 10th consecutive win while Bulls are placed second in Africa 1 Conference as the tournament heads to Rounds 12.
