Crusaders came up with a seven-try dominant performance as they went on to trounce Stormers 45-28 in their Super Rugby encounter at AMI Stadium on Saturday.

Crusaders got off to a promising start as they went on to claim the bonus point in the first quarter with George Bridge (6'), Codie Taylor (10'), Billy Harmon (16') and Bryn Hall (18') scoring tries while Richie Mo'unga slotted three conversions as they scored 26 unanswered points.

JC van Rensburg provided some respite for the Stormers with a touchdown in the 32nd minute but his effort was negated by Bridge's second try that came in the 39th minute as Crusaders ended the first half a 31-7 lead.

The visitors showed more intensity in the second half with tries from Wilco Louw (41') and JD Schickerling (53') that was improved by SP Marais as the gap came down to 10 points but Seta Tamanivalu crossed over in the 61st minute followed by a converted try from Richie Mo'unga to restore 24 point lead for the Crusaders heading into the final 10 minutes.

Replacement Steven Kitshoff provided some respite for Stormers as he helped his side to claim a bonus point with his 75th minute touchdown but Crusaders stormed into their second win in two games with a 45-28 victory.
