Bristol Bears have confirmed that Yann Thomas, John Hawkins, Max Lahiff and Tiff Eden have committed their future to the Gallagher Premiership club.

Thomas joined Bristol Bears in 2018 after playing for Gloucester and Rouen and has signed a two-year deal along with lock Hawkins, who joined the club in 2017 from Northampton Saints Elite Player Development Group.

Meanwhile, prop joined the Ashton Gate outfit ahead of the 2019/20 season on a short-term deal and has made nine appearances for the club and Eden joined Bristol from Championship side Nottingham in 2018.

“Tiff and John are quality men who have unfortunately had injuries which has hindered their progress. We wanted to give them more time to continue their development," said Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam.

"They’re both unbelievable team men who have really added to our environment. We’re looking forward to seeing them flourish with a run of games.

“For us to be the team we are striving to be, significant depth in the front row is crucial. Max and Yann are experienced performers who are well liked and contribute massively on and off the field. They’re quality players and we’re delighted to keep them onboard.”

Bristol Bears are positioned fifth in the Gallagher Premiership with four wins from nine games and will take on Northampton Saints in the 10th round at Franklin's Gardens on Sunday.
